Terms of service.

1. Booking and Payments

  • To secure your event date, payment of your invoice in full is required 2 weeks in advance.

  • Payment confirms your booking and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  • If the final payment is not received by the due date, SZN Memories reserves the right to:

    • Accept other bookings for your selected date.

    • Withdraw our services and not attend your event.

2. Use of Event Photos

  • SZN Memories may share photos from your event on our social media, website, and printed materials (e.g., brochures, flyers), unless you request otherwise.

  • If you do not wish for your photos to be published, please notify us well in advance of your event.

3. Event Extensions

  • On the Day: Subject to availability, you may extend your booking on the event day. To arrange, advise your Booth Attendant. The extension fee is $180 per hour, payable in cash before our staff departs.

  • Pre-Event (Minimum 24 Hours Notice): If requested at least 24 hours before your event and subject to availability, the extension rate is $120 per hour.

4. Parking Arrangements

  • If your venue does not offer complimentary onsite parking, SZN Memories will:

    • Research nearby public parking and include the estimated cost in your invoice.

    • If the parking cost cannot be determined in advance, a set fee will be added to your invoice. Any unused funds will be refunded.

    • You are responsible for any parking charges incurred during your event.

5. Equipment and Props

  • Lost or damaged props will be charged at $10 per item.

  • You will be invoiced for any damage to the following equipment:

    • Photo booth

    • Printer

    • Backdrop

    • Prop table

  • Charges will cover repair or replacement costs and, if applicable, loss of income due to equipment being out of service.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

  • If you cancel your event between 2 and 6 weeks before the scheduled date, 50% of the final payment will be invoiced.

  • If you cancel within 2 weeks of the event, 100% of the final payment will be invoiced.

  • Cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances will be reviewed individually and may result in a specific penalty.

  • If SZN Memories cancels your booking, all payments including the deposit will be fully refunded.

7. Special Clauses

  • If a hostile environment arises that threatens the safety of our staff or equipment, SZN Memories may leave the venue immediately. Refunds will not be provided in such cases.

  • If severe weather or natural disasters prevent us from delivering our full service, we may offer alternative arrangements, such as a transferable voucher for future events, instead of a refund.
